Exmoor is one of England 's smaller national parks, covering almost 270 square miles, with many areas owned by the National Trust, or protected as Nature Reserves and Heritage Coast.
The scenery is truly spectacular, from deep wooded valleys to high heather moorland, long sandy beaches and secluded rocky coves backed by some of the highest sea cliffs in England.
If you are looking for a peaceful break away from all the
pressures of everyday life, Exmoor is the ideal place to
be.
Walkers and mountain bikers are welcome. Packed lunches
are by arrangement. Secure bicycle storage and boot racks
are provided for your use. |

You can walk for miles across the moor and through ancient
woodland, find tranquil places for picnics beside a stream,
or walk the South West Coast Path, all without the crowds
of people you find in some other National Parks.
Visitors looking for an active holiday will find plenty to do; walking, horse riding, cycling, fishing, sailing and surfing are just some of the more popular activities on Exmoor.
With over 1000km of footpaths and bridleways, walkers and horse riders in particular will find Exmoor a perfect holiday destination.
